Richard A. Merola has 20 years of legal experience. He has extensive experience in all aspects of personal injury settlements and litigation. Richard has handled countless settlement negotiations, mediations and arbitrations for Martinous Law. He has practiced before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and has extensive experience practicing in Rhode Island Superior and District Courts.
Richard is also very experienced in Family and Criminal law. He has substantial trial experience and is a certified mediator by the Rhode Island Family Court. Over the years, Richard has held the positions of Secretary, Vice President and President of the Edward P. Gallogly Inn of Court and is a member of the Family Court Bench Bar Association.
He is licensed to practice law in the Federal and State Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

He worked in the banking industry as an internal auditor, prior to beginning his legal career. Richard developed a sound business understanding and interpersonal skills.
